How will the Nuwave Oven save me time and energy?
The Nuwave Oven is rated at 1500 Watts compared to most conventional ovens at 3400 Watts. With the Nuwave Oven, no pre-heating or defrosting is required, it uses as little as 15% of the energy and cooks most foods up to 50% faster.
What is Triple Combo Cooking (TCC) power?
The TCC combines the three cooking methods. Conduction is the heat that is applied directly to the food. Convection is the circulated hot air, produced by our quiet motor and specially designed fan. They allow the heat to distribute evenly for faster cooking and even browning. Far Infrared is simply a form of gentle, invisible radiant heat. It penetrates the inside of foods while also cooking from the outside, leaving foods moist and full of flavour yet browned to perfection. Hearthware’s specially patented heating rods enhance the Nuwave Oven’s unique infrared capabilities. The concept is similar to the warmth of the sun’s rays felt on your skin. What is the maximum temperature reached in the Nuwave Oven?
The Nuwave Oven has ten power settings; “HI” setting being the maximum. On “HI” setting, the approximate temperature is 175°C (350°F) Because of the Triple Combo Cooking power, the Nuwave Oven will cook quickly. For example, a frozen 4.5kg turkey will cook to perfection in about 2 and 1/2 hours.

I live in a warm climate. Will the Nuwave Oven heat up my kitchen?
Because the Nuwave Oven utilises the Triple Combo Cooking power, you never have to preheat or defrost again. It also does not heat up the air around it, so it doesn’t heat up your kitchen, which makes it perfect for confined quarters; during summers; and in hot weather regions You can take your frozen foods straight out of the freezer and right into the oven. Does the Nuwave Oven create smoke?
Because of the synergy created by the triple combo cooking power and because the Nuwave Oven cooks foods quickly using less heat, it produces little to no smoke. Moreover, whatever smoke that does get generated is confined in the Nuwave Oven. Under normal household usage, no ventilation system is needed.
Do I need the extender ring to cook a turkey?
Without the extender ring, you can cook up to a 4.5kg turkey. However with the extender ring, you can increase the capacity of the oven and cook up to a 7.25kg turkey.
How do I remove frozen turkey giblets?
One of the great things about the Nuwave Oven is how delicious and perfectly brown turkeys turn out. A lot of people have asked; how do you get the giblets out of a frozen turkey? Start cooking the turkey breast side down for the first half of the cooking process. When you flip the turkey breast side up, the insides should be thawed enough to remove the giblets.
Is the Nuwave Oven big enough to cook multiple foods at the same time?
The Nuwave Oven’s triple combo cooking power allows multiple items to all cook at the same time. Normally, it would take about 50 minutes to cook one frozen Cornish hen. If you started all four at the same time, you can cook them all in about 50 minutes. Basically, if the foods fit in the oven, they can be cooked at the same time.
How well does the Nuwave Oven cook vegetables and other vegetarian dishes?
From Artichokes to Zucchini, vegetarian dishes are endless. Corn and green beans come out crisp and delicious. Potatoes, sweet potatoes, and yams come out perfect and fluffy. Peppers, onions, eggplant, mushrooms and squash taste like they just came off the grill. Try asparagus brushed with olive oil, they turn out perfect in less than 8 minutes. Make your favourite recipes with roasted garlic and, broccoli or tomatoes. Don’t forget about soy burgers, they come out great in the Nuwave.
What types of pans can safely be used in the Nuwave Oven?
Any cooking utensils that can be used in a conventional oven can also be used in the Nuwave Oven. Things made out of foil, metals, Pyrex, and even prepared frozen entree trays are safe in the Nuwave Oven.
What do the recipes and charts mean by the 2.5cm or 10cm rack?
The cooking rack can be reversed to be used at a low height of 2.5cm or the high side of 10cm. The 2.5cm rack accommodates larger foods such as roast chicken because allows more space from the element. Whereas, the 10cm rack accommodates smaller foods such as lambs chops, or fish, and it sits closer to the element.

Can’t live without it!
We have been using the NuWave for about 8 years now. We bought our first nuwave when I first got married and raved about it soo much that my parents bought one. After that, they loved it soo much that they bought one for their weekend condo and one for our family owned business.
Because of the health aspect, my grandmother and aunt ended up buying one each for their homes as well. My brothers cannot go a day without using theirs.
We use it for everything from pizza and hamburgers or hotdogs to roasts and steaks and even pastries. My favorite feature is being able to cook from frozen. As a busy working mom of two active little girls it’s soo much easier to hit START without having to worry about defrosting and still be able to serve a healthy, fresh, wholesome meal.

It Really Works As Advertised
In addition to advertised uses, it also bakes bread. I preheat a cast iron Dutch oven for about 30 minutes, place the loaf in the Dutch oven, recover the Dutch oven, and bake for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Since it is 110 volts it uses less power than the 220 volt oven and produces less heat in the kitchen. After 8 years my Nuwave oven cooks as well as the day I purchased it. Recently, however, the original dome was dropped on a concrete floor and developed a 1 inch crack. Fearing the heat might damage it further, I ordered one of the new amber domes which are touuted as virtually indestructible and more efficient. When the dome came we discovered that frequent use over the years had caused the base to shrink slightly. After contacting customer service they cheerfully agreed to send us a new base free except for a small shipping charge. Just one more reason why we are happy that we did not choose a cheaper department store copy that we had considered 8 years ago. Unlike many products which liberally employ terms like “virtually indestructible” we fully trust that when it comes from Nuwave it is probably an understatement. How did I ever survive the kitchen before Nuwave? I purchased my first NuWave oven about 6 years ago. My husband was very sceptical about it at the time however he has come to love it as much as me! I s so easy to use, cooks so much faster than a conventional oven. I have used it at least weekly over the time, there are many times when I used it on a daily basis.
A couple of weeks ago we put chips in to cook and the element had given up the ghost, so we have been using our conventional oven. I takes soooo much longer to cook than in NuWave so yesterday I called Steph and have ordered a new NuWave oven, now awaiting delivery, can’t wait to get it!!!!!

This is the best product on the planet. I have had one now since i first saw it on T V quite a few years ago. I cook all my cakes in it and potato chips so don’t have to cook in oil. I actually have a spare one in my cupboard so i’m never without one. I have also bought all my Kids one and they love it as well. I have recently bought one for my aunt as she has an old oven in a government House and was so slow to heat up and now she never turns the old oven on. The most brilliant appliance in my kitchen would have to be my NU WAVE OVEN. It is so easy to used. We do a lot of travelling an after 5 hours on the road instead of buying takeaway, I just set up my Nu Wave pop in some seasoned chicken pieces and bingo fried chicken in 45 mins for dinner. I love that I only need the one machine to cook a meal for three (3) in under 30 minutes when using the recipes supplied. I recommend to anyone from single to families. We’ve had a Nu Wave oven for about 10 years and we love it – we use it all the time. It cooks roast pork perfectly (especially the crackle!!!). Unfortunately after so much use a crack appeared in the dome, but the Newstyle team were really great about replacing it.
